History of Giade

Giade local government area is situated in Bauchi state, northeast of Nigeria, and has its headquarters settled in the town of Giade. Some towns and villages make up Giade local government which includes Isawa, Chinkani, Zabi, Unguwar zailani, Kafin hardo, Shadiri, Zirrami, and Zindiri. The estimated population of Giade LGA is more compared to some other LGA and inhabitants with the prominent tribes in the area are the Hausa and the Fulani. The Hausa and Fufulde languages are widely spoken in the area while islam religion is commonly practiced in the area.

Economy of Giade

Farming is known to be the major occupation of the people of Giade local government with Crops such as soya beans, millet, guinea corn, and potatoes grown in the area. The LGA is also a hub for animal rearing such as cows, rams, and horses reared in the local government area. The local government of Giade also hosts several markets where a wide variety of commodities are sold and bought. Bauchi Geographical Description

Bauchi State is located in the northeastern part of Nigeria. It was created in 1976 when the former North-Eastern State was divided into three separate states. The state capital is Bauchi, and other major cities in the state include Azare, Jama'are, Misau, and Ningi.

Bauchi Economy
