The headquarters of the local government is located in the town of Dambam and is consisted of several numbers of towns and villages which include Jalam, Dambam, Dagauda, and Yamai. The population of Dambam local government estimation is not too much if compared with other local governments in the state and has inhabitants with the majority tribe being the Hausa.
