Mubi South local government is a town in the northeastern Adamawa state, Nigeria. The local government area lies on the west bank of the Yedseram River, The Yedseram is a stream that flows north into Lake Chad, and it is situated on the western flanks of the Mandara Mountains.
History of Mubi South
Mubi south local government area is a town that is located in the Northern Senatorial District of Adamawa State, northeast Nigeria. Mubi is subdivided into two major parts; we have the Mubi north and the Mubi south. The main tribes of the Mubi town are Gude, Fali, Margi, Kamwe, and Mundang (Godo-Godo). Mubi local government has three higher institutions of learning: the College of Health Technology (Mubi Campus), The Federal Polytechnic Mubi, and Adamawa State University, Mubi.
