Aba is a city established in the southeast of Nigeria and the industrial center of Abia State. Aba was officially created in 1991 and was divided into two different local government areas namely, Aba South and Aba North. Aba is powered by the Enugu electricity distribution company (EEDC), which was established by the breaking-up of the Nigerian electricity power authority (NEPA).
